  • NOC Success at Newark Urban

The Lincoln Orienteering Group hosted an event in Newark on the 12th October as part of the regional East Midlands Urban League.

It was a cool and somewhat foggy affair and the courses presented a number of challenges to keep orienteers on their toes.

Two NOC members secured age class wins:

    • Paul Morris (Men’s Ultraveteran)
    • Hilary Palmer (Women’s Hyperveteran).

A number of other NOC members grabbed podium positions:

    • Andrew Ridgway, 3rd (MSV)
    • Pat Squire, 3rd (MHV)

Other top ten finishers included; Helen Parkinson, Robert Parkinson, and John Palmer. Hebe Parr also topped the list in her category.

Thanks to all at LOG for putting the event on.

The RouteGadget analysis is available on the LOG website.
