The Lincoln Orienteering Group hosted an event in Newark on the 12th October as part of the regional East Midlands Urban League.
It was a cool and somewhat foggy affair and the courses presented a number of challenges to keep orienteers on their toes.
Two NOC members secured age class wins:
- Paul Morris (Men’s Ultraveteran)
- Hilary Palmer (Women’s Hyperveteran).
A number of other NOC members grabbed podium positions:
- Andrew Ridgway, 3rd (MSV)
- Pat Squire, 3rd (MHV)
Other top ten finishers included; Helen Parkinson, Robert Parkinson, and John Palmer. Hebe Parr also topped the list in her category.
